My dad was a meteorologist and as a child I frequently got to join him on his long summer research projects studying how hail forms. He’d be stationed out on the wide open plains waiting for giant thunderstorms to build up during the heat of the day. I have many memories of him staring off at distant clouds forming across endless golden grasslands. Thanks to @chasingtheshiftinglight for letting me use his photo as a reference for this painting. I hope you enjoy the results!
All prints are professionally printed using archival inks on a special tightly-woven canvas that we then mount onto wood panels. No further framing is required, but can be if desired.
