The Cairngorms
Travel may be out, but you can’t stop me from painting a place! The Scottish highlands are high on my list of places I want to hike and fish. I love the purple Heather growing out between the granite boulders strewn across these endless green slopes. This is a view of the River Dee as seen descending the mountain Ben Macdui. Thanks to photographers @mirrorunderthestars and @danl24 for letting me use their photos from Cairngorms National Park as a reference for this painting. I hope you enjoy the results!

All prints are professionally printed using archival inks on a special tightly-woven canvas that we then mount onto wood panels. No further framing is required, but can be if desired.
