I think it's important to look for beauty close to home. I cross this freeway on my bike commute all year round but there's only a small number of days in which I happen to be there exactly when the sun is setting. I've always liked how the endless traffic descends into the suburbs, but I was lucky to capture this fiery sunset to go with it. I loved how everything was bathed in a dusky orange glow. I was happy to add some fire to my subdued winter palette. I hope you enjoy it!
All prints are professionally printed using archival inks on a special tightly-woven canvas that we then mount onto wood panels. No further framing is required, but can be if desired.
