Poppy Path

This painting combines so many of the things I love to paint – a rich carpet of wildflowers, an epic sky with cool clouds, and a field that stretches out over distant rolling hills. I’d love to take a stroll down that path.
Many thanks to @elliotmcgucken for letting me use one of his lovely photos of the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve in California as a reference for this painting. I hope you dig the results!
