For this painting, I wanted to try something a little moodier and mysterious.
In my opinion, one of the most mysterious stretches of coastline in the US is where the Pacific Ocean meets far northern California. This foggy, rugged coast with its epic ocean views seemed like the perfect subject for me. It was both a challenge and a blast to paint.
