Dakota Barn
I grew up seeing these pale golden hues of dried autumn grasses beneath the wide blue skies of western South Dakota. This painting is based on a photo by one of my very earliest friends, Kirsten. We were friends back when we were just three, but life took us in different directions. It makes me happy to see her photos of the Black Hills. I hope you enjoy the results!
