Some of you have asked me where I get my inspiration. Great question! Let’s just say there’s way more that I want to paint than I have time left to paint. I keep an ever growing queue of painting ideas that I consult daily. Concepts bubble up and down. Some get painted right away while others take years to come to life. Ultimately, I try to pick paintings that have the most meaning for me. I’d wanted to paint this serene scene ever since my family and I were lucky enough to find it on a big trip to Hawaii. It’s a treasured memory for me and I’m so happy to have captured it in paint. I hope you enjoy!
