This was one of my favorite paintings from last winter. The original is happily living in Canada now, but I now have prints available!

There's a lot of beach dogs in Costa Rica. They saunter around in the shade just like this guy looking for something good. Maybe they'll dig for some crabs in the sand or jump after some fish in the shallows or eat/roll in something that washed up on shore. They usually belong to a human family -- or maybe two -- but they are free to come and go as they please. Seems like a pretty sweet life to me! For the next few paintings I want to bring more living things into my paintings. I hope you enjoy!
