Winter Birches

In the wintertime, I swap my bike for cross country skis and hit the trails. This painting is my love letter to the moments when I’ve been out skiing alone in the woods and stopped to take in the simple beauty of it all. Winter gets a lot of grief, but if you embrace it and get out into it, you’ll be graced with lovely quiet scenes like this filled with poetry. I hope you enjoy the results!
