I grew up in western South Dakota and when a strong thunderstorm builds up over the prairie, it can be an awesome and truly terrifying spectacle. Thanks to @pawnee_storm_chasers for allowing me to use his terrific photo as inspiration for this painting. I hope you enjoy the results!
