The gorgeous coastline of California is really a painter’s dream. The beautiful colors and dramatic views provide endless opportunities for wonderful paintings. I love the full spectrum of complementary colors found in this scene of the Little Sur River Beach south of Monterrey. Thanks to one of my favorite Instagram nature photographers, @lostinthelitterbox, for allowing me to use her great photo as reference for this painting. I hope you enjoy the results!
