This is one of my favorite spots to paint along Highway 1 in Northern California. Montara State Beach is a beautiful stretch of sand spread out between the rugged hills that fall into the Pacific. I especially love all the different flowers that bloom along this epic coastline and this iconic patch of pink flowers on the cliffs above the beach is an absolute show stopper.
