I’m fascinated by the geography of the tidal waterways and salt marshes of South Carolina’s Lowcountry region. These meandering rivers ebb and flow with the tidal rhythms of the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to photographer @billy_ellison for letting me use his stunning photo as a reference for this painting.
