If you head east of Mt. Hood and the Cascade Range you’ll find the high desert of central Oregon. This arid climate with extreme temperatures is a tough place for most plants to grow, but the Western Juniper thrives here. Thanks to @dartagnanfearon for letting me use his photo as a reference for this painting. I hope you enjoy the results!
