Lake Michigan
It’s fun to get to know my collectors. When someone buys one of my paintings, I like to look through their feed to see where my aesthetics overlap with theirs. When photographer Shannon Scott (@cameragurl on Instagram) purchased one of my paintings last year, I spotted some really lovely photo compositions in her feed. She kindly let me use one of her photos of Lake Michigan as a reference for this painting. I love the Great Lakes and very much enjoyed working on this painting.
