Since I’m unable to travel, I’ve taken to just painting the dream destinations I’d like to visit. Pictured here is the Bitterroot Valley, which lies between the Bitterroot Mountains and the Sapphire Mountains in Western Montana. The Bitterroot river is known for some fantastic trout fishing and it would be stellar to cast a line there. I love the dusty blue green color of the ubiquitous Sage Brush that blankets these hills.
