Interested in a commission?

Here’s how the process works:

I have limited time to take on commissions, so when I do it’s typically a painting that I feel would be appropriate for my art style.

We will work together to find a composition and subject that works best for you. We’ll cover aesthetics concerns such as mood, energy and color palette as well. This can go quickly or take some time. It’s a crucial step so I don’t like to rush it.

After we’ve settled on a composition and size, I would ask for a 50% payment up front to begin work. Generally my larger paintings take about 3-4 weeks to complete. There will be a series of draft stages as we get closer to a finished piece. I’ll be looking for honest and open feedback to make sure we are on the right path.

Once we’ve reached a finished and accepted state, I’ll ask for the remaining balance prior to final protective coats and shipping.

I will pack your new painting with great care. I ship a lot of paintings all over the world and have never had any damage occur. I cover shipping costs in the USA and Canada.
